Meet our team

All of our training consultants are accredited by the Learning and Performance Institute (formerly the Institute of IT Training). We have a large group of trainers, as well as a back-office team consisting of project managers, training administrators, resource management and sales and marketing support.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth has a wealth of experience in instructional design, scripting and building eLearning, as well as delivering classroom and virtual classroom training across a wide range of software and industries. Elizabeth specialises in HR systems, but is also experienced in developing training for ERP and CRM systems. Elizabeth has been an Optimum Training Consultant since 2007 after a career managing customer training for a major HR systems provider.

Tanya

Tanya has recently returned to Optimum to work on business systems and desktop application training. She is a Microsoft certified trainer with over 12 years of experience in course design and delivery. She has extensive experience of delivering classroom and virtual training in corporate firms including banking, retail, and Insurance sectors. Tanya also has a BA in German.

Nicky

Nicky is the lead Training Consultant on many of Optimum's most demanding project rollouts and after 17 years as a trainer has a wealth of information at her fingertips. Nicky scopes requirements and devises training plans to rollout end-user training, predominantly in bespoke business systems. She has delivered training in support of large system implementations at corporate firms, including banking, legal, retail and insurance sectors. Nicky never fails to deliver and clients are always sad to see her go.

Gani

Gani is one of Optimum's Project & Client Engagement Managers, responsible for ensuring that each training project runs smoothly and is completed on-time. She serves as a primary point of contact for our clients, whilst also supporting the training consultants and overseeing the management of their tasks and deliverables.

Jodie

Jodie provides training administration support for many of our larger projects, including managing bookings, databases, client portals and reports. Jodie also provides QA support for eLearning and training documentation development. More recently Jodie has been involved in the development of learning portals for some of our clients who wish to store all of their training documentation and eLearning modules via an Optimum-hosted system.

David

David is Optimum's Services Development Manager, responsible for developing new services and consolidating our expertise in existing services to ensure that best practice and innovations are shared and implemented. David joined Optimum as a training consultant in 2004, having previously worked as an in-house trainer for an international law firm.

Jim

Jim is a very experienced Training Consultant with a wide experience of developing and delivering training courses, documentation and UAT support over a variety of systems and industry sectors. He specialises in finance, ERP and social care systems. Jim has been with Optimum since 2005 and has worked with over 60 of our customers to support business process transformation projects.

Sarah

Sarah is Optimum's Managing Director and founded the company in 1998 after having successfully run other IT service consultancies. She oversees all project management, services development and the training delivery function, ensuring high quality is maintained throughout.

Simone

Simone joined Optimum as a training consultant in 2011 and is responsible for course design, delivery and training material development for a number of Optimum's ERP projects. She studied Information System Management at University of Newcastle.

May

May has joined Optimum as a Training Consultant; her main responsibilities involve developing and creating courses, including their delivery. She holds a BA degree along with Microsoft, Apple and Hewlett Packard professional accreditations. With previous IT support and project management experience, she brings a sound knowledge of IT systems, business and process structures to the Optimum team.

Mark

Mark has recently returned to Optimum to work on both business systems and desktop application training projects, including a range of Microsoft Office courses. He has a wealth of experience in course design and delivery, including virtual and distance learning solutions.

James

James is the Sales and Account Manager for business systems clients and is responsible for sustaining business development between Optimum and our business systems partners. James has worked for Optimum for 7 years, starting as a business systems training consultant. He was the lead consultant on a two-year, international project from 2006 - 2008, and offers invaluable advice and guidance about best training approaches.

Kostas

Kostas has recently joined Optimum as a Training Consultant, working on course design, delivery and training material development for a number of Optimum's projects. Previously, Kostas spent time working on IT support and account management roles. He has an MA in Management and an M.Eng in Computer Engineering.

This month we are.....

  • Delivering training for a global Dynamics AX implementation, incorporating HR, finance, project and operations.
     
  • Supporting an Agresso 5.6 implementation, for which presentation sessions have been delivered in both classroom and WebEx environments for end-users around the UK.
     
  • Designing training solutions for a local council's upgrade of the e5 system (Advanced Business Solutions software).
     
  • Developing and delivering training for an organisation's deployment of Dynamics AX at their US offices and sites.
